Your company vision / goal?
Our company's vision is... a very simple philosophy; the best quality
products at the lowest prices! We have been in the beauty business for
over 25 years and carry over 10,000 items! Our professional beauty
experts have worked with the entertainment industry and some of the
biggest stars in
Hollywood. We pride ourselves on
knowing just what our customers need and we would like to help our web
customers with the same personal service that has kept our in store
regulars coming back for years!!! We are continually adding products to
this web site, so each time our customer checks our site there are even
more goodies than before!
What you sell / services you offer (brief description of your
company):
We specialize in those HARD TO FIND beauty items right along side the
newest, hottest products the beauty business has to offer. We invite our
customers to email us with any of there special needs as well as
suggestions on how to better serve them. If they would like a suggestion
on which product they should be using ...we get right back to them as if
they were shopping right in our store.
We sell everything from Appliances, Haircare, Nailcare, Waxing and hair
removal products, Hair coloring and styling items, Mens lines, Children
and baby products, Brushes and combs along with
Bath, Candle and body items.
With close to 10,000 items it is impossible to name them all!
Have you always wanted to run your own business? What were some of your
previous jobs / companies?
I have ALWAYS worked for myself and started businesses at the age of 18
when I started my own window dressing business to support myself during
collage. I was a Fashion Stylist for 8 years, set designer, I had my
own Childrens clothing line and a successful catalog company.
Have you got any qualifications? Please tell us about yourself
academically?
I graduated from The Fashion Institute of Design And Merchandise in
Los Angeles and have always been
involved in the beauty Business in one form or another.
How / when did the idea of your website / company come about?
The web site was my husbands’ idea who thought it was the way to go 9
years ago before ANYONE saw that as a vision. He had a chain of Famous
Beauty Supplies in the
Los Angeles area and had grown tired
of the everyday grind and responsibility that a retail business brings.
After talking about it for a couple of years I approached my brother
(the only two people I knew who had a computer at the time was my
Brother in San Jose and my 12 year old daughter) and he came to Los
Angles over 1 weekend and gave me a crash coarse in "how to build a web
site" within 1 week I was up and running. With my husbands blessing I
built our business on the web and within 2 years was doing more than all
his stores! We then closed all the retail stores to focus all our
attention on running the Internet store only.
