Have you always wanted to run your own business? What were some of your
previous jobs / companies?
No, I was completely disinterested in anything that had to do with
business all the way through college.
Previous Jobs:
- Personal fitness trainer
- Administrative position in a wellness center
- Clerical and administrative in hospitals
- Restaurant work.
- UPS
- Retail
Have you got any qualifications? Please tell us about yourself
academically?
B.S. in Exercise and Sport Sciences from the
University of
Florida Many, various seminars on
business, entrepreneurship and personal growth/development.
How / when did the idea of your website / company come about?
My real journey into entrepreneurship came when I began reading Rich
Dad, Poor Dad.
I owe the entire idea and creative vision of my website to Travis Miller
and Jimmy Vee of Scend Advertising, two of my closest associates and
friends.
If you could give readers of this book one piece of advice when starting
up a business, what would it be?
Go for maximum leverage and wealth or don’t go at all. Creating wealth
is a noble activity if you want it to be; not an act of greed.
Who are your role models / mentors and why?
My two role models and mentors are Timothy and Dana. Timothy for his raw
entrepreneurial ability and Dana for his spirituality.
