Specializing in projectors. Also offering wiring, mounts, screens, and
speakers.
Have you always wanted to run your own business? What were some of your
previous jobs / companies?
Always have and always will. Started when I was about 8 going door to
door selling anything I could grow in my garden.
Since then I have done garbage can cleaning, sold sodas on the street
corner for the summer. Also ran a lawn care business for 3 years.
Have you got any qualifications? Please tell us about yourself
academically?
In high school I completed a 2 year
Academy of
Finance college course.
Now in college working on my 4 year degree.
How / when did the idea of your website / company come about?
One night I was thinking that I hadn’t tried anything on the internet so
I thought that I should at least try something. One night trying to
think of some ideas, and running some supply and demand numbers. I
decided on BuildMyTheater.
If you could give readers of this book one piece of advice when starting
up a business, what would it be?
Starting any sort of business is hard, don’t give up. The best advice I
can give is to just follow through on a venture of any sort. Even if you
fail you will gain valuable knowledge that you wouldn’t have otherwise.
Who are your role models / mentors and why?
Anyone who is running there own business. It takes heart and
determination to succeed.
Excluding yours, what company / website do you like / admire the most?
Honestly, Google because of their story. It shows you can go from
average to something extraordinary.
