My Precious Kid® Child Safety Products of Oregon is dedicated to helping parents keep their children safe. We produce professional family safety ID products. We educate communities how to keep children safer. We offer fundraiser programs for schools and organizations. We offer products to protect children and family, classes to teach safety, and a Sale Rep Program. Our reps program is focused on helping others succeed in their own business. What you sell / services you offer (brief description of your company):

We produce and sell 50 safety products for families including: ID card, Fingerprint DNA kits, first aid kits, chore charts, ID bracelets, Shoe, Stickers, Safety game, safety video, safety book, Taggies, shopping cart covers, child locator, name stickers, allergy labels, caution kids at play sign, ID scopes, and other wearable ID products.

Have you always wanted to run your own business? What were some of your previous jobs / companies?

My parent ran their own home based security business for 35 years. I ran a home based bookkeeping service for several years. I sold Tupperware and Discovery Toys. I ran a freelance floral design business from 1988-1993. Running a business seems like second nature to me.

Have you got any qualifications? Please tell us about yourself academically?

I graduated high school in 1977. I attended some college. I have taken numerous individual classes over the years. I have taught craft classes to woman through the years. I currently teach a new moms support class weekly.

How / when did the idea of your website / company come about?

My Precious Kid ID Cards were a result of needing Home school ID's for her kids, and an ID for Haley after her adoption. The Car Seat ID card was Kay's brainstorm after seeing car seat ID stickers from the hospital that were messy to remove or change. The Velcro tags can be changed for new information or a new child. The Luggage Tags are perfect for back packs, diaper bags, booster car seats and daycare or grandma's house. Your child's card speaks for your child when you can't!
